ATTENTION APPLICANTS: WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING STUDENTS, PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER

First, prospective students must apply to the department of Neurobiology for admission to the graduate certificate in Anatomical Health Sciences program. After acceptance to the certificate program, students must apply to the University of Utah Office of Admissions for status as a non-matriculated student, unless they are already matriculated in another degree-granting program. Admissions to the certificate are rolling, however the University of Utah deadlines for admissions are as follows:

Key Dates

  • Certificate application period opens — Oct 1st
  • Certificate application deadline — Jan 18th
  • Certificate acceptance decision notification — by March 1st
  • Deadline for application to the University of Utah Admissions for non-matriculated status — April 1st

Students who are accepted to the program must apply for non-matriculated status by April 1st to ensure they can enroll in courses for the Fall term. Failure to do so could mean you miss the deadline for admission to the University of Utah for those who need to apply as a non-matriculated student.

If you are not a matriculated student, you must apply to the University of Utah Office of Admissions to enroll as either a non-matriculated student or enroll as Seeking Second Bachelors with undecided as the intended major. Those enrolled as Seeking Second Bachelors are eligible for federal financial aid, while those enrolled as non-Matriculated generally are not. However, non-Matriculated students may apply more credits from their certificate (max. of nine) to future graduate degree programs than Seeking Second Bachelors students (max. of six). For more information please refer to the Office of Admissions.

Enroll as Non-Matriculated or Seeking Second Bachelors.
